Monarch Modded Boss MT-2

This modded version keeps the spirit of the iconic original but opens the door to a whole new world of tones both vintage and modern.
Inspired by classic mods like the Diesel, Griffin, and Monte Allums, and then going further implementing carefully selected circuit changes that completely transform the pedal into something so much more versatile than before.
You can still dial in that signature MT-2 "cocked wah" sound, but now it does a million more tones, from SRV and Zeppelin to the Black Album and modern metalcore. It's all in there.
A three-way toggle switch on the side shifts the clipping characteristics and dynamics:
UP: Asymmetrical clipping for aggressive, tight chugs
DOWN: Symmetrical clipping for a more Marshall-style open growl
MIDDLE: No clipping at all for a massive, raw, powerful sound
Other improvements include a revoiced tone stack, smoother high-end response, adjusted gain network, and an orange LED for 15% more mojo.
The MT2 always had one of the best tone stacks ever utilised in a pedal, but no matter where you set it it's compressed, nasal, stiff, and with a honk you can't remove, with the Monarch MT-2 Mod it's no longer just a Metal Zone -it's a full-on setlist in a box.

Monarch Modded Crybaby Wah – For GCB-95 Models
Take your Crybaby from nasal and shrill to rich, vocal, and expressive. We unlock the full potential hidden inside the GCB-95, transforming it into a lush, soulful wah that easily rivals boutique pedals costing three times as much.
We replace around 15 key components in the signal path, add True Bypass for zero tone loss, install an LED indicator, and fit a 3-way VOICE switch to dial in your perfect tone. Each unit also gets a full mechanical overhaul.
The one shown here has been custom refinished in Seafoam Green and fitted with an additional 3-way SWEEP switch for even more tonal flexibility.
