PEDALS
Is your pedal past its best? Something going wrong? Power failure? Or do you want it to sound different or more suited to your tastes? Fear not.
We do a ton of mods around here. The most common ones are:
Crybaby wahs - true bypass, tonal mods, LEDs, switches, our most popular mod is our CIVIL WAR mod, designed to replicate the wah tone at the end of a certain GNR song.
Big Muffs - mid controls added, tonal mods, clipping mods, version changes.
DS-1 - everyone’s favourite orange pedal - tonal mods, making the tone less buzzy/shrill, smoother clipping or gain structure, whatever you like.
PRICING:
CIVIL WAR MOD = $99 NZD, Obviously we need your Crybaby wah. This mod comprises true bypass switching, tonal mods, an LED indicator for off/on, and internal trimpot installation for mids and vocal controls.
Please note this cannot be done to SMD pedals with the micro components, only on pedals with a larger board like the pic to the right.
REPAIRS = Bench fee is $75 NZD, repairs thereafter are charged at $100 p/h excl. parts cost. As an example we’ve repaired vintage MIJ TS pedals, 1980s BOSS units, Small Clones, fuzzes, a bit of everything. Get in touch with your needs and we’ll sort it out.

AMP REPAIRS
Every now and then we repair or modify tube amps. We’ve fixed a lot of Marshall, Peavey, Fender, and even Mesa Boogie amps over the years. In fact, working on Mesas is something I rather enjoy, even though they can be immensely fiddly I find the results worth it.

Filter cap replacements.
Tonal mods.
Fan replacement.
Magic smoke repairs.
More gain, more bass, less treble in JCM800 style circuits.
GUITAR MODS & REPAIRS
Setups, pickup swaps, wiring, fretwork. We’ve done a lot of this stuff over the years, including handmade custom guitars from scratch.

Setups start from $150.
Pickup swaps usually start at $50 or so, if there’s coil splits etc it takes more time of course.
If you need something more heavy duty just let us know and we’ll see what we can do.
