Single Coils
Verona Set
Vintage-voiced Alnico V single coils for deep, rich, and soulful tones inspired by Hendrix, Clapton, SRV, and Knopfler.
Handmade at our workshop in Auckland using USA made Alnico 5 magnets and vintage correct vulcanized fibreboard bobbins, this set is all about classic rich deep tone with extra mojo.
Inspired by the classic sounds of Hendrix, Clapton, SRV, Knopfler, these pickups deliver that raw, expressive sound that helped shape generations of music.
The bridge is wound hotter at 7k for a bit extra thickness under drive. The neck and middle sit at 5k, open and dynamic, uncompressed for maximum nuance and dynamics.
The neck and middle are unpotted so nothing gets in the way of your tone. The bridge is lightly potted for stability without sacrificing vibe.
The middle pickup is also RWRP for hum cancelling in positions 2 and 4. Why pay big brand prices to sound like everyone else when you can have something made better that sounds better and costs less?
Each set of Kingdom Pickups is hand wound one at a time. No shortcuts, just real pickups built for real players.

Juliet Set
Vintage-voiced Alnico II single coils with sweet highs, rounded lows, and an open midrange for players who value feel, nuance, and dynamic response.
Everything from Kingdom Pickup is made by hand, one at a time by me in my small workshop in Auckland.
Our Kingdom Pickups Juliet Set stars USA-made Alnico II magnets: Warm, expressive, and dynamic, they're known for having softer edges, rounder, spongier lows, and sweeter highs that sing when you dig in and round off beautifully when you back off, with an open midrange that's not as compressed, scooped, or as 'hard' sounding as Alnico 5s or ceramics. While the bridge is lightly potted we leave the neck and middle untouched for total clarity and transparency.
They respond with clarity and nuance to your touch, making them a favourite for players who care about feel as much as tone.
We wind these to around 6k in the bridge and 5k in the neck and middle. We think that's the best sounding and feeling wind if you're going for a sweeter tone where you’re playing really speaks for itself. This is not a set built for high gain or metal. But for blues, jazz, pop, and any style that rewards sensitivity and dynamic playing, it's the perfect match.
Try it with a light touch of compression, some long reverb and you’ll see what we’ve been talking about all this time. Beautiful just like their namesake.

Caliban Hot Set
Hotter-wound Alnico V single coils, wax-potted for clarity and built for players who want bigger bass, longer sustain, and more punch to push their amp harder.
Everything from Kingdom Pickups is made by hand, one at a time at our workshop in Auckland.
Our Caliban Hot Set is built for players who want more power and punch from their single coils. Using USA-made Alnico V magnets and wax-potted for reduced microphonics and noise, these pickups stay tight and clear even when you’re running higher gain.
With a hotter wind – around 10k in the bridge, and 9k in the neck and 6k middle – the Caliban Hot Set delivers a bigger, louder tone with longer sustain, bigger bass, and a smoother top end. The mids have a natural compression that thickens chords and makes lead lines sing, perfect for heavier genres or for when you just want a bit more juice under your fingers to push your amp harder.
This isn’t your vintage-voiced set – it’s built for presence, authority, and the satisfaction of a single coil that can hold its own in a mix without losing definition.
And yes, it will chug.
The middle pickup is also RWRP for hum cancelling in positions 2 and 4. Why pay big brand prices to sound like everyone else when you can have something made better that sounds better and costs less?

Prospero Set
Hotter-wound Alnico II single coils, wax-potted and scatterwound for a huge, open tone that responds beautifully to your every touch.
Everything from Kingdom Pickups is made by hand, one at a time at our workshop in Auckland.
Our Prospero Set takes our winning formula for hotter single coils and gives it a more open, expressive voice with the USA-made Alnico II magnets. These magnets are known for their bigger, rounder response and less-compressed midrange, creating a huge, open sound that breathes with your playing dynamics. It’s a favourite here at Kingdom Pickups for its ability to go from sweet and smooth to bold and biting just by changing your touch.
We wind the bridge to around 11k, with the neck and middle at 7k, giving you a strong, balanced output across positions while letting the bridge deliver extra drive and authority when you dig in, but will clean up wonderfully with the volume control.
Each pickup is wax-potted to control microphonics and noise, and scatterwound by hand for a depth and harmonic richness you can’t get any other way. The result is power and clarity wrapped in the natural warmth and musicality of Alnico II – ideal for players who want dynamics and feel without losing presence.
This is the set for when you want your playing to come through in full colour – big, dynamic, and alive sounding under the fingers.
The middle pickup is also RWRP for hum cancelling in positions 2 and 4. Why pay big brand prices to sound like everyone else when you can have something made better that sounds better and costs less?
