Mighty Joe
Crushing high-output Tele bridge pickup with massive power, sustain, and unmistakable bite for heavy rockers.

Every Kingdom Pickup is made by hand in our Auckland workshop, and Mighty Joe is our heavy-hitter. Using USA-made Alnico V poles, vulcanized fiberboard bobbins, vintage pushback wire, wax potting, and a solid steel baseplate, it delivers huge power while keeping the classic Tele look.

With a crushing 14k DCR wind, the Kingdom Pickups Mighty Joe Tele bridge packs authority, sustain, and low-end weight without sacrificing that timelessTele bite. Designed for heavier genres, it’s unassuming until you open it up – then it hits like a sledgehammer.

Keep the clean channel if you must, but this one’s made for players who want the ground to shake when they dig in.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Screws and springs included.

  • The baseplate can be removed but comes soldered on as standard

Grumpy Joe
Thicker, grittier Tele bridge pickup for raunchy rock and smoky blues with more bass and midrange presence.

Handmade one at a time in Auckland, the Kingdom Pickups Grumpy Joe is for players who love the classic Tele snarl but want a thicker, fuller bridge tone. Built with USA-made Alnico V poles, vulcanized fiberboard bobbins, vintage pushback wire, wax potting, and a solid steel baseplate, it has the muscle to keep your Tele sounding big under gain.

Wound to around 10k DCR, Grumpy Joe delivers more bass, a less-compressed midrange, and a smoother top end – perfect for raunchy, dirty rock, smoky blues, and noisier genres where a stock Tele bridge can sound thin. Versatile enough for just about anything, but with a voice that’s all grit and growl when you want it.

Cool Joe
Classic Telecaster bridge tone with a bit more beef - jangly, biting, and ready for rock, punk, country, and blues.

Every Kingdom Pickup is made by hand, one at a time, in our small Auckland workshop. Our Kingdom Pickups Cool Joe Tele bridge pickups uses USA-made Alnico V poles, vulcanized fiberboard bobbins, vintage pushback wire, and is wax-potted for noise control. A solid steel baseplate adds more horsepower and low-end body without losing that unmistakable Tele growl and snarl.

Wound to around 8k DCR, Cool Joe nails the big, jangly, biting tones that define the Telecaster – think Keith Richards, Springsteen, Jimmy Page, Merle Haggard, and modern players like Graham Coxon and Jonny Greenwood, but scatterwound with our own secret mojo for a sound that’s deep, complex, nuanced, and expressive.

Perfect for punk, country, rock, or blues, it’s the ultimate “classic Tele” voice with just a little extra beef from the baseplate.
