What you do get is a hugely versatile gain design featuring a dual gang gain pot controlling 2 independent gain circuits at once each one providing different frequency response and clipping thresholds - what this means is a huge thick wall of dynamic and textured gain impossible to obtain otherwise.

Couple this with an active 3 band tonestack specifically tuned for as wide a response as possible and you’ll see why we call the Sundog range a setlist in a box.

The INTENSE control is all new to the Sundog Mini and allows you to subtly change the texture of your sound. At lowest settings it’s quieter with just a smidge of fraying around the edges of your playing with a nicely round character on notes. The further up you go, the louder, the more powerful and full the sound. There’s nothing like this out there (that we know of).
